There will be no weekly updates next week because of the holidays. They will resume in the New Year.

This Week:

The insulation and back deck trim at the edge, was wrapped, allowing the glass railing installation to begin. The sound insulation was blown into the ceiling and wall cavities where applicable.

The base steel plate of the chimney shroud was set and the roofers finalized the missing flashing and components remaining on their list.

Upcoming:

The Xypex water treatment will have to be cured before turning on the temporary HVAC unit. Once operable, the house will have to dry out in preparation for the drywall and overall conditioning of the interior space.

The drywall will be hung the first of the year and then the plasterboard will be installed.

This Week:

The spray foam insulation began.

The exterior siding continued.

The framing crew worked on the decking and the framing punch list.

The chimney shroud base plate was completed and delivered to the site.

Upcoming:

The chimney cap base plate will be set.

The spray foam insulation will be finished and the sound and batt insulation install will begin.

The drywall prep will begin.

The site will receive a major clean-up.

The trim crew will continue the interior trim prep.

This Week:

The lower-level decking continued.

The gutter crew worked with the roofers to continue installing the gutters.

Square Peg shimmed, squared, and plumbed the door jambs and base details.

The mechanical and framing inspections were passed.

The lower-level water seepage remediation began.

Upcoming:

The insulation prep will begin and the water remediation will finish.

The decking will continue.

The skylight, roof, and gutter installation will be finished.

The trim crew will prep the remaining doors and window jambs.
